It was founded in 1994 by brothers Luigi and Angelo Dattilo. Today it is located in Savigno, in Valsamoggia near Bologna, and now numbers 45 passionate employees. The company has two international locations, in New York and Singapore.

THE “SPA” OF FRESH TRUFFLES

Harvesting truffles is an act of trust in the woods and their noble inhabitants, who for thousands of years have grown at the foot of ancient oaks, lime trees, poplars and willows. Amongst their roots, the humus, rich in spores, creates rich and prolific undergrowth, which we can navigate with our eyes closed. Our commitment is what protects, preserves and spreads this ancestral knowledge, to protect its natural freshness, from the moment the truffle is dug out of the ground until it dresses up the dishes of the world’s best chefs.

THE PHASES OF

FRESH TRUFFLES

Our truffles are harvested by truffle hunters using traditional methods in the woods of the Italian Apennines. Once dug out of the ground, the truffles are quickly brought to our facility for cleaning, removing all residue of dirt from their surface. After this, we photograph each truffle and add it to those available in our shop: in the short time before it is shipped, it is kept in dedicated refrigerators, which allow it to be held at the ideal humidity and temperature.

FRESH TRUFFLES AROUND THE WORLD

When a truffle is purchased, we package it in a box which preserves its freshness during shipping, which takes at the most one day. Rapid delivery times are a further guarantee in preserving the freshness of our truffles, while they travel across the globe in record time to be used in the kitchens of the world’s best restaurants.
